2024 marks another important milestone in the country’s aviation history when it announced its plans to launch direct services to Seattle, Washington last April. The thrice-weekly service is the company’s first foray into the Pacific Northwest. As a pioneering airline of the trans-Pacific market, PAL has opened more gateways to the US from Manila than any other airline, with San Francisco, Guam, and Hawaii in 1946, Los Angeles in 1980, and this year, Seattle.
